Activating your M-level learning
Translating your dissertation findings into actionable practice
This course is for:
-
Anyone who has recently completed a master’s qualification that is connected to their professional practice.
If you have recently completed a master’s level dissertation you will be familiar with the challenge of a large piece of writing, with lots of rules about style and structure, that has to be referenced and presented in an ‘academic style’. While the topic of the dissertation was chosen because it was relevant and pertinent to your workplace or your own professional practice, writing up the dissertation can seem a long way from this. The success of completion allows you time to pause and get back to professional practice.
But, once you have graduated and celebrated your success what do you do next? Most people file their dissertation away and continue with their work, other demands take over and the opportunity to action those findings can easily get lost. That’s where this course comes in. Over three sessions we revisit your m-level learning and explore ways that it can be activated in your everyday professional practice.
